A regulated nervous system changed the way I experience live music. 🤘🖤 I love metal, but crowded concerts, loud music, and constant movement used to leave me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and overstimulated. Last night at Castle Rat, I was looking down at the mosh pit from the balcony and realized how different I felt. Calm. Comfortable. Grounded. Completely present. I’ve spent a lot of time working on nervous system regulation and managing stress, and sound bath meditation with crystal singing bowls and gongs has become a huge part of that practice. The goal isn’t to avoid loud, chaotic environments.
